How can I book a tour?
Booking a tour with us is simple. You can book directly through our website by selecting your desired tour, date, and number of participants. Alternatively, you can contact our customer support team via email or phone, and they will guide you through the booking process.
What is the booking process?
The booking process involves selecting your preferred tour, providing your contact details, confirming the date and number of participants, and making the necessary payment. Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email with all the relevant details.
Is there a deposit required to secure a reservation?
Yes, we require a deposit to secure your reservation. The deposit amount and payment instructions will be provided at the time of booking. The remaining balance can often be paid as specified in the booking confirmation.
What is your cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policy may vary depending on the specific tour. Generally, if you cancel within a certain timeframe (e.g., 120 days or more prior to the tour), you may be eligible for a partial refund. However, cancellations made closer to the tour date, no refund is given.
Can I reschedule or modify my booking?
We understand that plans can change. Depending on availability, we may be able to accommodate rescheduling or modifications to your booking. Please contact our customer support team as soon as possible to discuss your request and explore available options.
How far in advance should I book a tour?
We recommend booking your tour in advance to secure your preferred date and ensure availability. Popular tours often fill up quickly, especially during peak seasons. We generally advise booking at least a few weeks in advance, but it’s best to check the specific tour’s availability and booking window.
Are there any special requirements for booking private tours?
If you are interested in booking a private tour, please let us know at the time of the booking or contact our customer support team. Private tours may have specific requirements, such as a minimum number of participants or additional customization options. We will be happy to assist you in arranging a private tour tailored to your needs and preferences.
TOUR LOGISTICS
What is included in the tour package?
- Professional birding guide services.
- Private transportation to and from birdwatching sites.
- Accommodation (if overnight tours are included).
- Meals as specified in the itinerary.
- Entrance fees to national parks or private reserves.
- Birdwatching equipment (spotting scopes, etc.) if needed.
- Drinking water to keep you hydrated during the tour.
What is not included in the tour package?
- International or Domestic Airfare.
- Travel insurance (although we highly recommend having it).
- Personal expenses and souvenirs.
- Alcoholic beverages.
- Gratuities for the guides, drivers, personnel of lodges, etc.
CANCELLATION DEADLINE
A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total tour cost is due at the time of booking to secure your reservation. For all guided tours, we require a minimum of 90 days’ notice prior to the scheduled start date to process your cancellation.
BOOKING MODIFICATIONS
Requests for modifications to your reservation, such as date changes or participant adjustments, are subject to availability and may incur additional fees. We will do our best to accommodate your request.
FORCE MAJEURE
In the event of unforeseen circumstances or force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, government actions, pandemics) that prevent you from participating, we may offer rescheduling options or travel credits for future use. Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
REFUND PROCESS
Refunds, when applicable, will be processed within 10 business days using the same method as the original payment.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment in case of unexpected cancellations due to personal emergencies, health issues, or other unforeseen events.
SIZE OF THE GROUP
SOLO birder to eight people
Special policies may apply to group tours, and the cancellation terms will be communicated separately based on the group size and type of tour.
